Experience the real Italy

Benvenuti in Italia / Welcome to Italy

Italy is without a doubt the European treasury of art. The Italians are vivacious, spiritually inclined and with many gestures speaking people; the epitome of La Dolce Vita. Italy has a great past, which today to still can see in the gems of architecture and art. But Italy also has rich cultural traditions to be held by the Italians in honor, as evidenced by the many traditional festivals.

Central Italy is characterized by beautiful landscapes. From the rolling hills of Tuscany, with its many cypresses and vines, which continues to Umbria and it turns into the mountains of the Apennines. This is the green heart of Italy, interrupted by the many rivers and lakes. Every top of a hill or mountain again delivers a unique, breathtaking view on the landscape. This unique landscape of central Italy is also due to the many picturesque medieval hill and mountain villages with their gray and terracotta tones show off majestically on the slopes. Just these many towns make a visit to central Italy worth.

Visit these towns and participate in the “passegiata” (the parade at the end of the day). Stop at a bar or a terrace and enjoy a delicious café (espresso), cappuccino, local wine or an aperitif and watch the Italians how they enjoy the good life. Add to this the warm hospitality of the locals, the Mediterranean climate with its many hours of sunshine and above all the fantastic, honest cuisine and enjoy your stay to the fullest. This makes Italy a country to love and to fully enjoy. Therefore, take a taste of real Italy and be guided by this guide.

Taste the real Italy will take you to these areas in our villas, farmhouses and apartment rentals, for example in agriturismi and borghi (hamlet). We hope to give you an idea of the regions, the art, culture and of course not forgetting the gastonomy as we know it and experience it ourself. We absolutely do not pretend to be exhaustive. For this we refer to the many guides on Italy and the regions of Umbria, Tuscany, Lazio, Sicily and northern Italy. We do want to give you only an impression.
