Surrounded by the gently rolling Tuscan hills near Cecina, among vineyards, olive groves, sunflower and wheat fields, lies this characteristic farmhouse. This farmhouse has been carefully restored and transformed into a cozy holiday villa with a tasteful, country-style décor. The villa has four bedrooms, all with private bathrooms. The covered porch is perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner outside, overlooking the pool and surrounding hills. WiFi is available.

Interieur

Villa (250 m²) for 8 people, spread over two floors.
Ground floor: cozy living room with fireplace, TV and French doors to the terrace and garden. Kitchen with oven, 5-burner stove, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, blender, toaster and coffee maker. Dining room with French doors to the terrace. Double bedroom and bathroom with shower.
First floor: two double bedrooms with en-suite shower room, one bedroom with two single beds, bathroom with shower.
Additional amenities: Wi-Fi, washing machine, satellite TV (LCD), SKY decoder, stereo / DVD and vacuum cleaner.

Exterieur

Large garden with lawns and Oleanders. Covered terrace with dining table and stunning views over the hills. Pool (5×10 m) with "scala romana", sunbeds and gazebo. Outdoor shower and barbecue.

Faciliteiten

Located in the middle of Tuscan hills and also close to the sea. The beautiful sandy beaches, for example, of Marina di Castagneto Carducci are a 20-minute drive away. Upon request a cook will prepare a delicious Tuscan meal for you. Also possibility of wine tasting. The motorway to Pisa is 10 minutes’ drive away. The nearest village with all amenities is 2 km away.

Surroundings

The Etruscan coast stretches from Livorno to Piombino. A strip of 90 km of beaches, alternating sandy or pebble beach. This region comprises 20% parks and nature reserves. Noteworthy are the Bolgheri WWF Oasis, the Magona Park, Livorno Hill Park, the Rimigliano Park flora and fauna oasis, the Orti-Bottagone oasis and Sterpaia and Montioni parks.

For a day at the beach we can particularly recommended Marina di Castagneto Carducci. This is a quiet resort with a beautiful, wide sandy beach, fun for children because the beach is only gradually descending into the the sea. In the afternoon you can have lunch at one of the many beach bars, such as “Bagno La Zattera” or “La Tana del Pirata”.

Marina di Cecina has a narrow gravel beach and is very busy. The beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Baratti are nearby, therefore a visit to the islands of the Tuscan archipelago with its unspoiled nature and crystal clear waters is also possible.

You can find some cool air during a walk in the large pine forests along the coast. Great for kids is “Il Cavallino Matto” on the road to Marina di Castagneto, with a playground and other activities. At Cecina there is Acqua Village Cecina.
