Beautiful country house with a classic Italian driveway lined with cypresses, magnificently situated on top of a hill in the green rolling Umbrian countryside. The hinterland is characterized by vineyards, olive groves, sunflower and wheat fields, forests, medieval churches and peaceful villages. Nearby is a typical tranquil, medieval Umbrian village. The villa (17 people) with accompanying tobacco tower (6 persons) has been carefully restored and tastefully furnished with stylish antiques from the region. Beautiful, large garden with lawns, private pool, with adjoining dressing room, barbecue and wood oven for preparing pizzas. This country house is also a perfect place for weddings (under the big oak tree in the garden).

Ground floor (150 m²): Large living room with fire place and 2 sitting areas, large dining room with 2 dining tables. Large semi-professional kitchen with stove with 5 burners, modern dishwasher, large oven and fire place. Double bedroom with bathroom with shower, suitable for wheelchairs. Downstairs toilet.
First floor (150 m²): Large double bedroom with settee and fire place, kitchenette with stove with 2 burners and a fridge, entresol with 2 beds, bathroom with shower. Double bedroom with four poster bed and bathroom with shower. Two double bedrooms with bathroom, one with Jacuzzi and one with shower. Bedroom with 2 single beds with bathroom with shower. Bedroom with 3 single beds and bathroom with shower.
Tobacco tower (70 m²): Living room with fire place, kitchen with stove with 4 burners, oven, fridge and dishwasher, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower. The first floor resembles a large hall with a passageway to the top of the tower. Here there is a double sofa bed which if requested can be used as bed, there is also a bathroom with shower. In the top of the tower there is a double bedroom with large windows with a 360º panoramic view.

Exterieur

Large roofed, shaded terrace (100 m²), perfect to enjoy a lovely Italian meal together at the large wooden table. Beautiful swimming pool surrounded by a large garden (8000 m²) with lovely green lawns. Detached from the house is an annex with dressing room and shower, a large brick barbeque and a wood oven. From all sides you have a wonderful view of the landscape. Detached building with large hall for large parties/reception such as a wedding.

Faciliteiten

Here you will experience the real Italy. In the large kitchen cooking lessons can be given, on request. A dinner with wine tasting and/or olive oil tasting can be organised. You could even hire a cook.
The villa is part of a large agricultural company that produces very good quality wine (from own experience). In the cooking classes, or if a cook is hired, products of their own harvest are used. You can go for wonderful walks or bicycle rides to the surrounding villages. This country home is also very suitable for weddings. Getting married under the large oak tree. Near by you can go and visit the many well known (and less known) pearls of Umbria. Such as the fossil forest of Dunarobba with its fossil trees, Acquasparta, a picturesque medieval town, Carsulae, one of the most beautiful excavated towns from the Roman time. Amelia with its special wall and beautiful museum, but also Terni and the Valnernia, the Marmore waterfalls, Narni and Lugnano in Tevernia with one the most beautiful Umbrian Roman churches are nearby.
Horse riding lessons for beginners and experienced riders at the stables “La Tenuta die Ciclamini” is only several miles from the country home. You can also go rafting at the Marmore waterfalls
The central location makes this house ideal for visiting the many cultural, architectural, religious and artistic treasure chambers of Umbria.
